    I know people who buy them at the border out of the back of vans for dirt cheap too. You'd have to know someone though.

    that goes for drink and aftershave as well.

    came back from krakow last year with a couple of bottles of vodka (finlandia) a bottle of hugo boss, jean paul gaultier (spl?) "le male" and a itchi miaki (spl 2 ? ).

    came in at under half the price.

    price wise polands like being back in the early 90s again !

    Be careful bringing this back through Dublin or Belfast airports though...

    Must try that! But what type of tea burns best ... Barrys? Lyons? ... hmmmm or maybe burn some of those fancy teas, stand outside in the garden and get high on the smoke ... the possibilities!

    Apparently a public library in england put up posters "buy none, get eight free".
    The cheapest read of all.

    Save €2.50 a year! Public libraries in Ireland do not charge a cent.

    This is a Cork County Council Library and they charge €2.50 per year. I thought that was considered a Public Library?

    The annual membership fee is as follows:

    * Adults - €2.50.
    * Children under 16 years of age - 50c. A parent or guardian must sign a guarantee, which also allows Internet access.
    * Senior citizens have free membership.

    There is no further charge for borrowing items from the library.

    My apologies. I had no idea. Here we are in Dublin and we don't know how the other half lives. Sheer bloody luxury!
