Could it soon be that the IMF are the sworn enemy of the public sector and its workers or the countries that wont buy our exports of good and services?
Or maybe the tourists who dont come here to buy our over priced tourism product?
Or could it be those shopping across the border?

The sworn ememies of the country are the people that both FF and FG are determined to appease - theones who have caused this problem.

Get a grip on reality please.... They have not been the ones who have destroyed the health service and education system over the last god knows how long. How can you write such rubbish, Looks like a typical FFér at work here again. Attitudes like yours have dragged back ff govt´s one more odious than the next election after nausiating election. I´m all for the public service, but I don´t see how FF have improved it one bit. Focus your attention back on the government if you really care about the public and the people who serve them.

Quite honestly I couldn't give a damn what FF, FG or any other party says right now. They're all just words.

Action is what is needed. This is a national emergency and it needs a firm, decisive and most of all measured response.

What we are witnessing is our government condemning our economy to oblivion through panicky, reactionary and completely insane proposals which are just going to finish the job the subprime crisis and the bursting of the Irish property bubble started.
