Greetings,
This is my first entry on my first discussion board ..ever. I have a small business which is doing ok considering and am a reasonably mainstream citizen, married, 4 kids, two secondatu two primary. Not a radical in other words. Having introduced myself I would like to ask other people these questions.
1. What if all the recovery packages etc being instigated around the world dont have the desired affect?
2. With so much trouble getting agreement about a €2 billion series of cuts through, how do they expect people to swallow the further 18 billion necessary cuts to get us back into line with EU requirements?
I suggest we are in a period of fundamental change, more dramatic then Russia went through when the Soviet Union ceased to exist because there is no alternative apparent now whereas the Russians had the Capitalist model to emulate. I'm afraid this current instability may lead to large scale social unrest.
Am I on my own in this fear?
