    Moody's cut Ireland's ratings outlook to "negative"

    Well are we suprised?

    Anybody want to add what the Bond markets are doing now?

    Widest CDS spread in Eurozone, like I said previously on another post, I would bet they'll be in default by 2010... Don't cry for me argentina, just sit back and watch Biffo speak!

    Moody's puts Ireland on watch for downgrade

    The ratings agency Moody's has threatened to downgrade the State's debt rating if the Government?s finances deteriorate further.

    Right. And the same thing that Fitch did not do.

    Incidentally, it's reported in the Irish Times as have been placed on "watch", which is not the case. "Negative Outlook" is a far milder condition than on "Negative watch".
    I'd be surprised if it had any appreciable effect on the bond market, it's hardly coming out of the blue.

    I assume this also refers to the abysmal report from Bloomberg on line

    bloomberg.com that gives us a a big nadnad na over our budget defect.

    All I can add is... well cant add anything to be honest.
