No, I grew up in a regular family - house with a with a mother who's primary talent was being in denial, and a fabulous looking father who delivered milk - oddly enough, often at night time. So there's no way we could be related that I can see.

for the first time in my life i agree with Gene Kerrigan in todays sindo

"As Anglo Irish Bank rushed towards collapse, poor, pitiable Brian Lenihan struggled to avoid a blunder, and walked the rest of us into a catastrophe."

    This guy is a disaster!

what a difference an independant media makes eh? poor little brian looked like a spooked goose when faced with questions he'd never get asked in a million years off RTE.

I actually laughed out loud at the bit when she asked " do you take no responsibility for what happened?" !

Teacher Teacher - They're calling me names

Lenihan complains to BBC over news report

    "
THE Department of Finance has contacted flagship BBC current affairs programme Newsnight to complain about last Thursday night's show which featured a package on the woes of the Irish economy.
    "

    "
Lenihan also refuted Maitlis's comment about "Germany, questioning your lack of regulatory oversight, calling you the wild west of the eurozone", responding: "Germany didn't call us the wild west of the eurozone in fact. I'm not aware of that I have to say. We've been called that by others, but not by Germany."
