    Graduate Employement

The BBC reports that Graduate employment is down by 17% in the UK and by 47% in the Financial Services Sector. BBC NEWS | Education | 'Tough jobs market' for graduates

Would this be similar or worse in Ireland? I have heard a few of the horror stories like Law companies laying off trainees, many financial companies not hiring any graduates this year, Graduates being offered jobs last February/ March and then turned away when they turn up in September. How is the situation in Ireland? Are many companies interviewing or what can graduates in Ireland expect when they leave university nowadays?
