    Unemployment Reaches 8.3%

There are now 293,500 people on the live register. An increase of 16,300 nearly matching last months record, more than 4,000 people are losing their jobs every week. Well done FF!

The annual increase from Dec 07-08 is over 120,000.

So in other words......there are more people unemployed now than when FF came back to power in 1997.

    That is staggering

Semi-related news, US figures are to be released today, and are estimated to show the largest increase in people loosing their jobs in 34 years - a whooping 550,000 people were expected to be laid off in December.

That will bring the US un-employment rate to well over 7%.

It really is getting to the stage where one might ask, why did you come to power at all?

The Celtic Tiger ended in 2001 when Ireland was getting 25% of all US investment into the EU and the dot.com boom bust
    - The Fianna Fail led Property Bubble took over in 2002..

How and ever - This IS astonishing, its clear and unambiguous now. If you elect idiots, they can do serious damage to your country..
