    What? AS a young boy I remember being screwed over time and time again by the unions. Not once did the government rise to defend the ordinary citizen against the red terror.

    As a young boy you should not have been working. If it wasn't for Unions, would you have;
    Holiday Pay, O/T Rates, H&S Legislation, Minimum Wage,Sick Pay, Redundancy Payments, (Handy these days), etc.etc.etc. All initiated and negotiated by Unions.

    Oh I forgot, by your reasoning you would have got all the above through Govt. and the Employers. Don't make me LAUGH.
