Even more baby, even more... and it's not tax and spend.. it's tax to pay back for stupid past spending... like benchmarking

And de-centralisation postponed till 2011 ? For what... to go back to the country in 2012 with more bloody empty promises about "return us and we'll de-centralise to every Ballygobackwards in Ireland"

Jesus.. what will Irish people actually put up with ?

It's a lazy euphemism for propping up housing market - and keeping Tom Parlon happy (he's definitely in for a big bonus this year)

I'd say you're spot on there - and some (maybe most) members of the Irish electorate are so gormless they'd probably go for it.

So the Greens don't get their carbon tax but a "cycling to work" initiative instead?!

He's hiking capital gains tax to pay for an incentive for commercial property investment.

And that on top of the "affordable housing" stunt, precisely when housing has become more affordable and when the state doesn't have the funds for it.

FF truly are whores for property developers.

At least there's a new tax relief for cycling to work (if you have work to cycle to), or telling lies that you cycle to work.
