Or here's an idea, you could come on here and argue and defend whatever point or issue you wanted to make with your first post. After all, isn't that the point of an internet forum? It is a fair point to ask: is a self-declared neo-liberal now supporting increased taxes for industry?
I suppose merely to ask this means my 'reputation' becomes even more negative?
Sorry for attempting to stimulate debate. I think I will also cease to engage with this website...

Carbon tax is a fraud... Has anybody seen "The Great Global Warming Swindle"?

I sure as hell won't be parting with my already scarce euros for such a tax.

You're very concerned about that little coloured square, aren't you?

Not particularly...it is the colour of my political allegiance after all! But it is suspicious that I get 'tagged' after 'engaging' with the very thin-skinned neo-liberal who started this thread. I have 300+ posts on this site and I am 'not amused' (as Merkel might say) to be branded of low reputation when I have merely engaged in some mild political jousting...
I had a neutral 'reputation' before posting on this thread today so it is...curious...

Colour of rep icon? Irrelevant to me, I take notice of post content not the rep icon of the poster.

The post content is the point of the forum, not who is posting.
Mind you, there are some posters whose posts I generally ignore, mostly because they have no content in their posts. But I use the "blind-spot" method not the facility on the forum, because very occasionally these posters actually make a sense making post.

I have no issue with taxes so long as they can be justified. A Carbon Tax cannot be justified because there is not enough evidence that global warming is happening.

Hypothetically, if it was, it would also matter how the revenues would be spent.

Alternative energy research would be a step in the right direction.
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.
