Re: Wall Street Rescue Deal Reached

Glad to see Obama knows what he wants....

This will impact all that I have promised but I have no idea what I will cut and I don't even know what I can do anyway as it is dependent on tax revenues (ie I am making up promises with no ideas that I can meet them)......or I will accuse McCain of not knowing what he is talking about when my own VP candidate agrees with him (but should have kept quiet until he was told what to say)...

    Ask Hugo Chavez:

“They have criticised me, especially in the US, for nationalising a great (telecom) company, CANTV, that didn’t even cost $1.5bn,” Chavez said at a ceremony that included representatives of US oil company Chevron.

“The US has spent $900bn, four times what the Venezuela produces in a year, to try to boost the troubled finance system and housing market.”

[quote:3q4srylf]Nice to see he is promising the "Free choice act" which will bring US labour back to the good old days when the mob ran the unions. Pro-worker my ass.
Yes I'm sure the employers organisations opposing it are just looking out for the workers, people with such sterling pro-worker records as Wallmart..

This isn't about dissecting Obamas plan it's about the wall street bailout I posted that to shut someone up who suggested he had no plans or ideas

Johnny looks rather stupid now, a deal having been reached before he has his first meeting, his campaign not actually having been suspended, and the debate still on.[/quote:3q4srylf]
Do you know what the Free choice act is?

Yes sure the Republicans are in the pocket of the various corporations but the Democrats are in the pockets of the unions. This law is the equivilant of the Republicans pushing a law legalising child labour.
Liquidate labour, liquidate stocks, liquidate the farmers, liquidate real estate.

Yes, a union based on cards signed instead of a secret ballot.

Yes, a union based on cards signed instead of a secret ballot.
So you'd support abandoning private ballots for political elections too?

This is a thread about the wall street bailout, enough threads are derailed on this site as it is.
I've spoken on other threads of the EFCA

If the muppets have passed this proposal I would like to see who voted for and who against.

    Does anyone have a link?
