June live register

Hi guys as the live register for june will be out tomorrow at around noon anybody have any predictions of how bad this could be, im predicteding a rise of 15,000 i know it sounds steep but with the way the economy is going i might not be far wrong but ets hope i am.
Anyone else care to guess?

Maybe Ivan Yeates will open a market for the live register every month, i would not put it past him.

I predict a rise of another 20,000.

The Live Register has jumped 19000 to 220k with the seasonally adjusted figure rising 10100 to 217400. The unemployment rate jumps to 5.7% from 5.4% in May.

Jaysus, I wasn't really expecting such a sharp increase during the summer months. Much of it must be coming from construction workers who've finally thrown in the towel.

Just taking a cursory glance at the gulf between male and female numbers that is increasing and also those above 25 years of age. I'd definitely say the construction workers are throwing the towel in.
