Talk to any one running a business in my town, any they will tell you that money is disappearing from the economy. Apparently a lot of people are left servicing debts that is eating in to a lot of or all of their disposable income.
That Shinny German Car
That big New House
That investment property that didn't turn out to be such a good investment.
That Credit Card
Others are finding that it is not as easy to make soft money as it was.
Carpenters can no longer get paid for hammering in three nails, when they actually only hammered in one. Ditto for other trades.
The result is that a sizable portion of the people who had disposable income either no longer have it or are saving it, for the monsoon season.
Many businesses are on Bread and Water. The result is that hundreds of millions of spending have disappeared from the economy.
