    Notice that they are mostly rich guys who ran big organisations and naturally think that leaders of big organisations like themselves should be paid a fortune. Their appointment was a cunning con on the Irish public by Bertie and the cabinet who should know there is a good reason politicians are not paid as well as top business executives: if they are paid too large a multiple of the income of the average family,they lose touch with the economic concerns of the people they are supposed to represent.
