Have the sales figures you've been covering been improving in the last few weeks? Have sales per week increased?

heard on the news this morning that myhome.ie have reported that sales prices have fallen by 15% since the peak in 2006.

i think that was the daft.ie figures man.
last i heard some comentators think theres still a drop of 30% to come in our housing market so its not a surprise to see such a high level of drops. that said the fact sale is up, albeit marginally, shows theres still demand there. IF the price is right. looks like sellers just need to cop on to the state of the market now.
I was talking to a senior bank person yesterday and he said that things are very very very bad. Expect the drops to continue till the end of this year, and maybe even further....

Please do, I'm interested in whether these price cuts are having the desired effect, ie, increasing sales. Do your figures include the price cuts of new developments, like at Barnwell Hansfield and at Capel Development's launches? \They generated good sales, so that could be contributing to the increase in sales.
