Couldn't agree more. Sadly I suspect this figure is obtained simply on the cost of the ammo, equipment and army wages and transport, and probably doesn't even factor in the long term costs, both monetary and otherwise, of deaths and injuries on all sides. Self and family paid taxes in the UK while these wars were persecuted (until 6 months go), am still fuming at the involuntary use of our tax revenues to persecute these illegal conflicts. For anyone who wants the UK cost figures, the wars had cost 15billion as of last spring, a few months before GB resigned as Chancellor (radio interview, BBC I think)

    yours rantingly
The floggings will continue until morale improves

I think it does include all cost relating to injuries, deaths etc. I tcertainly includes veteran pension figures.
