most unions pay their full time officials wages that are relative to similar civil service grades,your average general sec would be on 120k ish.

Actual morality is doing what is right regardless of what you're told. Religious morality is doing what you're told, regardless of if it's right.
Except, of course, for Con Scanlon - former general secretary of the Communications Workers Union - who made several million from being the union representative on the Eircom board.
