Ah Blucher, have you got your sarcasm detector switched off? It was a very nice bit of sarcasm.

The real joke is that he took advantage of the early retirement scheme so the government could save on salaries. Then the government re-advertised the position he wasn't needed for in the first place.

Only teachers / public sector employees could come up with that logic as a means of saving!!

Someone call hbap, there's only punchdrunk and hammer defending Enda on this thread. And punchdrunk isn't up to it. And hammer is suffering DELUDED withdrawals.

    Fingers crossed.
    Doubt creeps in.

I think Enda doesn't come across too bad in the Dail. Gilmore on the other hand, jazus, that lad's angry.

So for me as a citizen they are a worthless government. You are worse to be standing by them. 220'000Euro + expenses + allowances. Easy for him to smile on his trips abroad.

You, should be a bit more understanding of the people Fianna Gael are supposed to govern's feelings. Obviously as a Fianna Gael member you are not in the real world.
Excellent points. How can they be so stupid as to not slash those salaries? If the Shinners had any brains they'd give a chunk of the excess money back to the taxpayer or at least to charities, power would be in the post.

    Good reading again, from Namawinelake.

Might Email the following to Michelle Mulherin, and ask her to dress this one up.

"Next week, June 26, the mismanagement of Michael Fingleton's INBS will cost taxpayers 635,000,000 Euro in bond repayments (unguaranteed), money that could have been spent on helping to lift this sinking boat a little higher in the water. Another 500,000,000 will go to picking up the tab for Sean Fitzpatrick's greed by repaying unsecured, unguaranteed bondholders in Anglo. That's more than one billion Euro of your money torn up and flushed into the sewer."

Actually i have sent it to the three characters responsible, St Brian, and his mate, Biffo, and master of all Bertie.

when will the files be made available, and did David McWilliams really advise Lenihan in Sept.2008. I seem to recall Lenny telling DMcW that his officials " do not really get it, or understand what is going on",or so McW said.

Tony connolly on RTE six one news says "Somewhere in the mix the Irish government will hope for movement on our bank debt issue"
He should know better than that,we were told to feck off a few times now, even when there was a yes vote,Ireland was laughed at,While being told to feck off yet again.
Will RTE ever tell it as it is?

I've great news for you, Spanner.

No socialists have led an Irish government ever...

Of course that means that their mad policies didn't cause this cock up. Right wing nutters did that all on their own.

Enjoy the fruits of your labour.
