That's my opinion too but I freely admit I haven't a clue when it comes to foretelling the future

Sterling is a stand alone currency which some of us may have historical problems with but those problems do not include trying to be a one size fits all currency that means little countries like ours are at best left in the lurch and at worst saddled with other peoples debts.

Our trade is more diversified than when we had the link with sterling, it's fine for companies who trade mainly with UK but no great advantage for those who trade in dollars or with the euro area.

I am also a fan of McWilliams, but more from a Eurosceptic point of view than a Libertarian point of view.
