Given the question must logically focus on our immediate needs, I voted yes. BUT adopting Stirling is not a option we should ever consider. With the likes of UKIP fulfilling a role it defines for itself amongst Irish political opposition, and the fact our highstreets are effectively British shopping centres, having stirling would invite even more political and economic adventurers to our shores from the UK. Bad idea.

Really? So you think that Multinationals would set up in a peripheral country like this if they had to pay the same corporation tax as in a Core country like Germany? And you do realise that most of our exports are from multinationals?
Losing the power to set our own corporation tac would destroy our economy and set us back nearly two decades.
