Nama Senior Exec goes Bicycling with Jack Ronan

    Ronan link to Nama boss

Nama has said there is no conflict of interests after a photograph emerged of one of its senior executives on a cycling holiday with Vita Cortex boss Jack Ronan.
Nama has seized several of Mr Ronan’s assets and is still in negotiations with him over the transfer of an unencumbered asset which could end the 54-day sit-in by 32 workers at the Vita Cortex plant in Cork.

The workers reacted angrily yesterday when a photograph emerged of Mr Ronan on holiday with Nama’s deputy head of portfolio management Michael Moriarty who oversees the agency’s lending and corporate finance teams.

In 2003, Mr Moriarty was the managing director of CB HOK Investors and set up syndicates and property deals on behalf of wealthy Irish clients.

The photograph of Mr Moriarty and Mr Ronan, who built up an extensive property portfolio, was taken on a cycling trip in South Africa in 2005.
    nothing to see here apparently.

Jack Ronan like his cousin Jonny Ronan (Treasury Holdings) likes to take part in long distance cycling events.

I wonder have any NAMA executives gone for a spin with Jonny?

For gods sake what kind of a scandal thread is this.

Where is the page 3 girl ?

Did anybody notice the date on the picture, 2005.

I think its a damned disgrace that executives who do not have knowledge of the future are still allowed in this country.

No conflict of interest eh? I'm sure Mr. Ronan would agree but I'm even more sure the Vita Cortex workers disagree. What a joke!!!

i included the date in the excerpt - just for completeness -

i think the when though is irrelevant

this collusion merely shows our poachers and gamekeepers are all friends and the notion of a game keeper is all posturing to keep the game (us)from getting restless

Michael Moriarty, as well as several others, is mentioned in this article about poachers turned gamekeepers employed by NAMA

Please, lets be fair to jokeshops. At least jokeshops give us a few laughs from time to time, all this excuse for a State does is reduce people increasingly to tears and lead by a bunch of incompetents who are (unbelievably) as bad as the last lot.
