SIPTU, well what can i say they are absolute wnkers useless. I talked to some of the guys their petrified of losing even 1 hour because of their circumstances so it looks like we will comply.

We ordinary ejits in the Private Sector wake up each morning to the terror of not having an income in our old age while you Public Sector Whingers complain about having a substantial pension!...
Well, why on Earth did you not join the Public Service when they were strapped for staff in the late '90s and early to mid 00s? Wouldn't have been anything to do with the crap wages, would it? After 40 years service my full pension entitlemdent will be €118.00 per week,BEFORE deductions. I don't know it will be like by the time I'm finished, which will be sooner rather than later due to outsourcing and privatisation, if the rumour-mill is to be believed. So I imagine you'll be happy then.Or maybe not, when you have to stump up when you call an ambulance and are further billed for every item used. And that'll be the tip of the ice-berg in the brave new world.....

Guess thats the difference between a private and public sector employee

You as a private sector are interested in one thing - financial gain

Public employee has a job which gives them some financial gain but they want to contribute something to society make a difference

Im glad you painted the picture so clearly

Funny how whenever a PS worker comes on and moans about wage cuts, they forget to mention the ridiculous 20% benchmarking increases of 2003 gifted by Bertie

I'd love to see you prove that %.

Go ahead, just as soon as you've put out that fire in your pants.
