    No, look at Tombo's post above. Even with self-assessment no-one does it until they absolutely have to. The % in the last week of March will be far more interesting than with 9 weeks to go.

    I'm surprised that the revenue commissioners or whoever is responsible for the collection of this tax hasn't started a public information campaign by now.

    Would it not be more efficient if we were to lodge the money directly into a German, French or British bank?

    I'll wait for the full time whistle on this one, but it seems like a lot of the Government's more strident supporters aren't doing their patriotic duty on this one.
    Not going to indulge in some anonymous bravado on this myself. I might cave if they can frighten me enough. Seems this admin's default position is the apocalyptic threat.
