    you could be right, im not sure on the exact number of Households this applies too.
    If you are correct and is 1.7 million then its only 4% who have registered.

    The point is that we tend to do things at the last minute. The SSIA offered us free cash yet we still didn't sign up in large numbers until the very last month.

    There has been zero communication or information on this.

    It is highly likely that a large proportion of the population, who don't closely watch politics or budget stories in the media are completely ignorant of this.


    I myself need to go and Google how to actually go about registering for this latest highway robbery.

    So if people wait till the last minute to get free cash you think theres going to be rush at the last minute to pay for someone elses debts...... I DONT THINK SO

    It's quite easy. It is called a household charge and we live in Ireland so what website would you expect?

    Spot on ... i asked my sister if she intended paying the house hold charge.....she hadnt a clue what i was on about.She has no intrest in politics and rarely watches the news.
