    Quotes of the Crisis: your suggestions?

    Many of us have stopped watching and reading the news. Too much is going on that we know will affect us but that we cannot control.

    So here is a little thread to gather pithy quotes that are relatively easy to digest and convey something about what is going on.

    To begin, the FT writer Martin Wolf, today -

    Current favourite has to be of course the man of the hour.
