Why are nearly one in six of working age on social welfare in past decade?

Our population rate has climbed which is one factor. These people are not only disabled but blind, deaf, mute, wheelchair, disabled, certain cripping diseases (I think they go under illness, its depends if they had condition since birth and cant work). Am not sure what else they would provide it to in these cases. They may have widened the groups to be involved when they shouldnt have done that.

They had like 200,000 people on the dole in the height of the boom while only 36,000 on disability. How did they have that many on the dole when there were jobs?

Employment is a lagging indicator in economist speak,meaning unemployment falls in the wake of economic growth.

Even in the boom times it was hard for those over 50 to get a job .I gave up looking for one and traded houses for a living instead untill that option dried up .Then i went abroad ,where i am now .

You'll spot these types a mile away----They are the ones complaining that "the Polish get everything". They are the ones watching sky sports whilst St Vincent de Paul are delivering their weekly bags of coal/shopping.

I want these lazy ************************************s dealt with, once and for all!! Leeches is all they are!
