Very sad times.

and plank kenny's main items were (1) Callely, and (2) nuns in Carlow. Maybe we should all go into the convent and hide away.

And globalised speculative capitalism and the large financial institutions who threw the money at us, who would have abandoned Ireland if we had tightened up regulation, and who are now making profit on causing misery in the countries affected of course has nothing to do with this. Yes, it all caused by a state agency called FAS. Clearly FAS is at the root of the problems of globalised capital and must be eliminated.

We have more in common with the people who go hungry because of food price volatility by the same speculative markets who are causing our misery now.

Blaming Lenihan, FAS and the public sector unions is like attending to a broken arm while the blood is gushing from a cut artery.

We'll be hiding away a long time.
Its only a chat, we ain't the world council.
In 2000 the Women's Institute in Britain gave Tony Blair the slow hand clap to demonstrate their contempt.
It was dignified, restrained and effective.Doesn't Bertie deserve the same scorn. No shouting, no abuse, no agression just a relentless slow clap whenever he speaks in public would be enough to end that man's presidential fantasy.

I suspect there's plenty of blame to go 'round but, not to worry, those who are blamed seem to be the only ones immune from consequence.

It looks like we will shortly find out the limit of his spinning skills...
