Mind your head, there'll be planes falling out of the sky by this afternoon.
Nothing will motivate the lazy / apathetic / Americanised / west-British types to embrace their culture and the Irish language.

Sailor i dont think that's fair. I have studied Economic history throughout my life and i am genuinely scared and what lies ahead not just for Ireland but the world itself.

History tells us that massive economic shocks lead to wars, racism & extreme ideologies.... it would be hard to envisage this all ending well.

I am not for one taking any joy in my countries misfortune - but i would say this the banks have their responsibility to their share holders - the government owe their responsibility to us.

In your analogy, i would be criticising the gardai if a serial killer was granted freedom with out sanction and was continuing to kill left right and centre.
FF/Greens were the worst thing to happen to Ireland. Until FLabourG that is...
