It would if we changed the law to make it legal.

But surely the European courts would over-rule our native laws?

Not if we exit the Euro and the EU, become a state as part of the USA and the dollar, and entering a cunning deal with the British and the British Commonwealth. From a position of strength we can negotiate a more favourable deal with the EU. As part of the USA, we would naturally have a massive US army base around Shannon directly and indirectly employing thousands upon thousands.

Not if we had already left the EU.

    You're right.
The economy crash would quickly solve the housing supply crisis.

So who`s calling for the Property Crash 3 ?

Property crash 2 never happened but the doomsters were definite

They even predicted Bailout 2 which didn`t happen either.

The EU will be gone in a few years - and, as usual, the Irish will be left with their mouths open wondering what happened to them. But an economic crash would be good - if it can be used to clear out all the immigrants. But, knowing the Leinster House Gombeen régime, they'll do their best to get the Native Irish youth to emigrant and keep their cheap labour immigrants.

How could Property Crash 2 happen when FG (and FF before them) where borrowing a billion euro a month from the ECB to keep distressed property off the market - even to the point of selling it at half price to Goldman Sachs rather than allow young Irish couples to have it.

    Bigly stupid.

The price of a house is the price a person is prepared to pay to buy it.

Increasing disposable income means prices will be bid up more.

Decreasing VAT just means more profit for the seller.

Funny how Wing Nuts can never seem to grasp the simple basics of economics, and it doesn't come simpler than supply and demand.
