This is move a year too late. I have good knowledge of the law. I can only imagine all the files that have been shredded, accidental fires and flooding Bailey- style with more files lost. No to mention all the legal adivice, alibis, and whatever you say say nothing etc.
You'd think Kenny committed Treason and brought in IMF. Cowen had all in stitches in Galway at 3.30a.m.but he was "not impaired" -DD Power. FF=Publican páirtí an IMF.

Link on it on Breaking News states the same. A man in his 60's taken to Bray Garda station. No comment from Anglo..
Knowing this country he's probably a cleaner.

It's a start but don't get too excited.
Agree. whoever it is will be the Sacrificial Lamb, the hate figure the public recognises, and Anglo will also fight Drumm tooth and nail for the £8.2 million.

Meanwhile a lot of others will escape unscathed.

    Sound familiar?

Of course it does! It's Ireland under Fianna Fail - The Soldiers of Bankruptcy.

Presumably they seized plenty of supporting evidence in the raid of 13 months ago.
    Under Review.

I agree. FF are very good at digging up pantomine villains to distract the public with. Seanie, public servants and Lehman bros. have all served that purpose since the economy crashed in 2008. Sad thing is 20% odd of the electorate will fall for it every time.

Well.....I think its blatantly obvious who it is.

Obviously its nice to finally see some movement in the investigation. However, I am worried given what has happened thus far that it is not a coincidence that this arrest occurs just as major bad news is about to eminate from Anglo.

It would be tempting to say this is just a smokescreen, which I am sure it isn't, but this investigation has been in process for over a year. The only time it has reentered the limelight since its inception has been when Lennie or other Govt figures have drawn attention to it, with the objective of silencing criticism.

Don't be daft. Ever heard of backup tapes? Data has to be kept for 7 years for legal reasons and backup tapes for Anglo will almost certainly be deposited with a third party data storage company. On top of that, even if you delete data from a hard drive, it is still recoverable in part at least. They weren't going to blow away all their servers to destroy the evidence now were they?
