What a stupid thread. Whey exempt them and nobody else? If they are "special" won't all the healthcare workers say they are too?
If the Gardaí act on their Oath and Act as Peace Officers instead of Policy enforcement Officers the government will be quaking as the Gardaí then wouldnt be obliged to collect revenue for the Government and give people fines for speeding etc.
We'd see funds (fines) from the Courts dry up too if they didnt go after people who werent breaching the peace.
Heres hoping...
Who do they think they are. They are tied in to firemen in Dublin. And what about a specialist nurse in theatre saving a person's life, or a surgeon doing a heart transplant. Guards you have it good, mind it and keep quiet.
You'd think Kenny committed Treason and brought in IMF. Cowen had all in stitches in Galway at 3.30a.m.but he was "not impaired" -DD Power. FF=Publican páirtí an IMF.
