Jim Rogers: the British Pound could collapse within weeks

Investor Jim Rogers is now saying the British pound could collapse in value.

Rogers thinks the pound is the worst of a bad lot of world currencies.

The pound collapse will herald a second leg of the worldwide depression.

Be a bit ironic especially for the eurosceptics who cling to their beloved Pound!

He's just stylelessly trying the same trick as his pal George Soros.

If sterling collapsed there are plenty of people living in Louth who would advocate a redrawing of the border...

Bloomberg had Rogers on for one of their extended interviews last year - his main stock in trade seemed to be tossing out highly provocative statements predicting the direst of scenarios.

2010 may be another 1992 for the UK system - the election to lose. Unless that suspected oil off the Falklands starts to flow, like the North Sea did in 79/80... (very unlikely, as it takes more than 5 years for a new field to start producing).

Gordon Brown is so unlucky, he'll probably win.

Possibly - Cameron has that baby-faced lack of substance and gravitas that we tend to see in Enda
