    Looks fast to me

Robbers everywhere will be quaking in their boardrooms.

whats the odds that money is now ringfenced and accrueing a nice 3% in an account in AIB while this all gets "processed"?

the customers get their moola back next year and the bank keeps the interest.

of course im sure im just being silly, that couldnt possibly happen.

The Regulator says they have to pay interest.

Not clear if the rate is what the bank makes on the aggregate pot or what the customer would have made on their individual amount.

    Beats jail.

It seems that AIB has another 'mixup' on the way. They are probably waiting for a busy news day and hoping it will get lost on page 10
The Sunday Tribune has been told that the AIB auditors have uncovered at least one more overcharging case and that the Financial Regulator has been informed.
