    A Party Of One !?

There was talk in the Tribune recently of McDowell setting up a new party - could they be bed-fellows ? To my mind, no, fanciful thinking. I don't think Lee has thought anything through ... ever.

Somebody should, a party with honour and integrity putting irish citizens first is required. FF and fg are so tainted,it would be like shooting fish in a barrel.

The damage is done so I have reason enough to gloat. Lee struck me as a bully in every interview since he was elected and I suspect this was recognised in FG

Sure he should, he could stand again in Dublin South as well, I'm sure they'd vote for him. Hasn't he shown he's willing to fight for them? Hasn't he shown that their wishes should be represented? Of course he has. He'll get 50'000 votes.

Or he'll crawl back to RTE after his career break and eventually sue them for constructive dismissal when they're mean to him.

Fine Gael could not get popular support to do what needs to be done

A new party with real cod liver oil policies might get 30 seats and become a partner in a recovery coalition
