No, no. That's not my point at all. It's that on the topic of ethnic cleansing, he's an habitual liar and on the topic of immigration he's a hypocrite, hysterical scare-mongerer and closet racist. You may have missed the comedy of Catalpa's popularity chart of the races. Search the archives. It's hilarious stuff.

And who are you anyway to speak for the site in general? Or to tell me that I don't live in Dublin? Have we met? Is that you, Ma?

You'd want to re-write your personal ad, so. "No pedants, lefties or devastatingly handsome men."

Gnasher, you seem to have a thing about Catalpa's right to post on the site. You need to get over it and move on with your life.

This is not a difficult concept. Nobody, not even Catalpa, has a right to post outright lies. I certainly "have a thing" about that.

Matters of opinion are not a problem. If you think there are too many immigrants in Ireland, fair enough. That's a matter for discussion.

Matters of fact are another thing. There is no ethnic cleansing happening in Dublin 15 today, as surely you can agree. To repeatedly say that there is, is dishonest, irresponsible and potentially dangerous. Catalpa knows this and yet persists. A measure of the man. That's all.

More of an issue with his half arsed distortions, lies and hate filled fantasy, I'd imagine.

Gnasher is right, he has a vision, most of you lack...National, 'pure' countries as we uded to know are on the way to extinct. In case of Ireland it seems to be difficult to accept inevitable future perhaps becouse of relatively young democracy and history of a state. The Global Village - thats a name.

As for a main topic: yes, Poles are leaving. Ireland turned to be only a mirage of promised land...

Gnasher and you are welcome to your "visions". I would prefer the status quo with change occurring more slowly. I am not sure if China would agree with you about their impending extinction. "the Global Village' is fairly obvious but each villager should have exclusive possession of his/her own house, unless we are all in some sort of big commune but I thought communism was largely a discarded and discredited doctrine ecept for some oddballs posting on this site.

Poles may be leaving but how many are still arriving and where are the figures to back up your statement?

That's what I am saying - we the Irish People are on our way to Extintiction as a Nationality at the way things are going.

    Gnasher calls this 'racist scaremongering'

    - So how can we both be right?
