How have we become so imasculated to feebly accept this sort of crap!
But Cowen blamed Coughlan, Coughlan blamed Lenihan, Lenihan blamed faceless Civil Servants..

Nobody in our feeble government is responsible for anything, except if a good thing happens by accident. Then they are responsible.

Throw in some swear words of choice.

A condensed version was wished for. Does not Mr O'Leary not think the Gov't is rubbish? All the things he mentioned, and advocated getting rid of, were set up by Gov't. Hence, "The Gov't is rubbish" as a condensed version.

If he didn't spout so much profanity himself, he'd be more listenable and less off-putting to hear. Some interesting ideas become less so with profanity.
Point is that you refuse to engage in the substance of O'Leary's discussion and prefer to have a go at his character. Also seems you are irked by his proposals to get rid of some sacred fat cows

Reality is that this notion that civil servants can only be fired along with a lotto win is a load of balls.

WHO says that we can't just let a Rody Molloy go on statutory redundancy?

What the f..k is statutory redundancy if we can let statutory people (civil servants) go on statutory terms???

Irked by his proposals? Nah, off-put by his delivery. And to deliver anything, 'image' does count.

I most reluctantly agree with you.
So, if we can't cut the numbers then we must cut the wages and pensions.

It's not going to change by WISHING and negativity!

He used too much profanity. Otherwise, those points are ones that have already been made by others.

There's a £5.00 per person per leg charge for booking Ryanair flights with a credit or debit card in the UK, except for Visa Electron cards - only available from one or two UK banks.

For example, a couple booking a return flight from London to Spain would be charged £20.00 for using a debit or credit card.
It's very easy for Irish people to get an online Electron credit card - I know lots of people who have one - and then there are no Ryanair credit/debit card fees to pay!

    They can be ordered here.
