Hey hey lads, I was walking along the street the other day and I seen a toilet cleaner from the Dept. of Finance driving a Ferrari. I managed to snap a picture of the lousy son of a biitch...here it is

he dropped his payslip just as he passed me and it had 50,000,000,000 euros written on it. In the Deductions part it just had a series of faces beside PRSI, PAYE etc. and where it said Superannuation it had a little animated one of these . Must of cost them a fortune to do that.

Then the basstarrd pointed at me and started to cackle. Because I was only driving a BMW I suppose.

Now, are we going to stand for this? Its a disgrace.

    AAARRRRGGHHH!!
Well, the OPW was charged with selecting the tender, managing the build etc so the public sector aren't blameless. Ultimately though, screwups of this nature must lie at the door at the OPW Minister which was Tom Parlon at the time.

Why dont they just open it to the public and make some profit to make it viable.

If the €1.3 million was borrowed, which it was and if it had to be repaid, which it will, the monthly interest is over €4,000 per month / €52,000 a year

True, true, all true. It's the supplementary speculation which seems to accompany such reasonable observations on this site that I have a problem with.

Remember the large Dail Bar bills that hadn`t been paid. Were they ever settled or did they transfer the liability to Anglo / DDDA

The same OPW that furnished John O`Donoghues & Berties "former taoiseach" office.

€35,000 for curtains !! €200,000 for a bit of paint and a safe for Mr Sterling Deposit

They are very good at what they do. OVERSPEND

€35,000 : You will soon be able to buy an apartment for that

You don't need a Russian-type doll for that, johnfás - any comprehensive documentary will do. It's pretty much what happened, after all. But what puzzles me is this: how do they get the Cowen doll to fit inside the Bertie doll?
