I hope they use the day to reflect on why so many of them voted for Bertie Ahern, Fianna Fail, and the property developer/banking cartel behiind them.

Manning pickets - can someone remind this relic of the '70s that the marriage ban was done away years ago.

I heard the Public Sector workers in my area are heading to Northern Ireland to do some serious Christmas Shopping.

However we save a lot of money today by their strike..Keeping striking the world will go on and we will survive..

Meanwhile in the real world the amount of destroyed small business's because of flood damage is rising.

St V De Paul are having their busiest time ever, and can no longer cope locally..

I was driving from Newry to Dundalk this morning and there was a 10 mile tailback leading into Newry.

It was like a bank holiday Monday.

How very appropraite. It was the 1970s U.K. Trade Unions that paved the way for Thatcher to come in and sort the country out. Jack O'Connor is a self-confessed admirer of Scargill. Hopefully we don't have to go through the pain the the U.K. went through in the late 70s before get our political redeemer.
The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.
