We live in a redistributive kleptocracy that has institutionalised Robin Hood

In Ireland we have a massively redistributive political system that taxes the wealthy and transfer their money to the poor. Services such as education, health, roads etc are provided free of charge- those who don’t work are given free money and housing. The median earner pays a mere 4% tax on earnings.

Also we've seen the lower paid PS workers, a substantial body of voters, have manged to grab themselves an unjustified 22-31% premium over private workers

This is mob rule, with the poor people ganging up on the wealthy and taking their money. Instead we should have participatory democracy with stakeholders voting according to their contribution.

Thus all people should be allowed to elect a legislature that shall deal with fundamental human (and other animal) rights.

Taxpayers- be they natural people or companies- should elect an Executive in charge of spending. Their voting should be according to their participation: i.e. one vote per one Euro of tax paid

For too long the rich have tolerated the tyranny of the proletariat masses – the rich should raise up and overthrow the institutionalised Robin Hood that is the Irish State.

I've got another idea. Why dont the 97% of us who are landless workers, insteading of ganging up on the rich and forcing them to pay a little bit of tax, why dont we gang up on them and KILL THE BASTERDS!!

I have a better idea. Why don'r we let the very rich and very poor(!) slog it out between them and let the rest of us who have subsidised both groups massively over the last 12 years get this useless bunch of ********************ers in government look after the rest of us for a change

Well, that'll never happen, because the rich own the government - its their government, their own private property - it's not for the likes of you.

The thickaspigshít Irish electorate dont have any say in the matter any way. They have a "choice" between the green sock-puppets or the blue sock-puppets, but they have no choce in who has their hand up the sock-puppet's ass.

So that is why rubbish like Mary Coughlan, Beverly Cooper-Flynn, Eamonn O'Cuiv, Willie, O'Dea, Frank Fahey, Ned O'Keeffe, Michael Lowry, Martin Cullen, Noel O'Flynn, Mattie McGrath, Jackie Healy-Rae and Mary Harney are elected. These are total sh1t and yet thousands of phuqwits elect this dross.

Ya, they elect them, I mean they put a number beside their names once every four years or so, but thats it. After that they know that they can just shut to fvck up, because nobody is going to listen to them - nobody at all. And if they want to protest at something, if they want to be rebels and change the world, they put a number beside some other sock-puppets name. So instead of Brian Cowen smiling happily because he has the landowners fist up his ass, we get the big happy grin on Enda Kenny's face. And guess what, the dope who wrote the number on a page is in exactly the same position. And you know that isnt the missionary position.

But about half the people have wised up to this little sham. They know their vote counts for nothing and they never vote at all. So, I wouldnt say the situation is entirely hopeless. There are signs of human intelligence out there.

I can't disagree with you Cael. Which is why I live where I live. I won't put up with that sort of crap.
