Collateralised Debt Obligation Derivatives would seem incoherant if you think Goldman Sachs are a benevolent organisation.

Burger King workers don't earn enouugh because the minimum wage is too low. If the government made the minimum wage $50 per hour, the workers would be much better off.

The scumbags at GS work 90 hour weeks! so what. .

Tell that to the child labourer who'd have to work a lifetime to earn what these crooks earn in 5 minutes

The salesman got nearly 1 million in a bonus for this, shilling his bosses that he should be given sole credit for the massive fees the trade created.

99% of what GS and other investment banks do is bollix (anyone should be able to execute a trade on line directly with an exchange, as for coroprate advice, give me a break, a shakedown comparable with auctioneering) and will be redundant in a decade, but with the political clout they have, they know this so they will ahve moved on to something else like the locusts they are.
I know my own fair share of people in GS, past and present. The job of the whole group was to raise capital for business among other things, so do individual GS employees create jobs of facilitate job creation, no but they help companies to do so, if you read my original post rather than react you would have read that. GS are not to blame for the crisis, they are an easy scapegoat but the real culprit is the Clinton administration and the people who borrowed money for properties when they had no business borrowing.

More than just a little off topic there. Everything I have I worked for, I am not wealthy but I do know how to live within my means. You have no argument, you cannot say why you think the people who work at GS are "scumbags" other than unrelated people on another continent are being exploited by their marxist overlords.

    What? Hyperinflation how are ya?

What kind of twisted view is this? You think most people have a choice in the matter.

Of course if someone had the opportunity to work for a decent living and contribute then they'd take it. Many people don't have such a chance and a small minority have the chance to earn astronomical amounts and that's the system's fault and the fault of the snakes who worship it and the dollar in a religious veign

Liam, are you not listening to the man telling you in plain english the facts.

Were it not for the trillions given in bailouts Goldman Sacks would be bankrupt, gone and padlocked. (likewise the Euro big boys)

Who do you think got the 187 billion given to AIG. Surely you don't think it was AIG.

You are looking at the 10 billion crumbs when the 9 trillion dollar cakes is being gobbled out the back

I said nothing in particular about North Korea or any such regime. .

Where are the "Marxist overlords" in Africa? It's Capitalism that's tearing that continent to shreds.

And anyway America itself is clearly a land of the haves and the have nots:

    Wealth Distribution

GS and others of their ilk are immoral because they evidently think themselves somehow entitled to such an disproportionate amuount of the wealth on this globe.
