Chavez has a delivery of 30'000 Russian AKs ordered for next March plus 5000 top of the range ones with advanced accuracy . Might fill their order books for a while. He's even considering opening his own factory to produce Venezualan Kalashnikovs.
I'd expect others in the region will follow suit.
The big loser will be the U.S arms manufacturers.
