    Anyone watching this? It's extremely bearish, which is like a breath of fresh air in this country's media on this subject.
    And, being RTE, it's going through the main talking points slowly and simply enough for anyone to follow it.

    Well if this programme and its post-apocalyptic video style doesn't break the back of the property market I don't know what will.

    Nothing that hasn't been posted here or over on the property pin for the past 6 months or so, it's just when you see it all pieced together it makes for some extremely disturbing viewing. An at times terrifying hour's television. Well done Richard Curran.

    The only thing I'd disagree with that what-if about is the timing. It's based on house prices falling from mid-next year, when the reality is they've been falling since late last year.

    As show on RTE tonite the boom in housing is haeding for a crash. "Negative equity" is the new property term. This is were your morgate is worth more then ypur house. Michael Mcdowell brother, a econimist at UCD said " the goverment has made a unmitigate mess of it". Did i haer a tiger meow???
