Potential New Candidates in Dublin South-East?

Still a long way away I know, but I'm interested to hear who people think will be running in Dublin South-East in 2012 (or whenever the election may occur).

I'd like to see Eoghan Murphy run but reckon his constituancy is already taken with Ceighton, so prob will see Paddy McCartan run for FG in the area.

    Will Cllr run?

Any word on Michael McDowell as a possibility for FG as rumoured before the locals?

I'd like to see Murphy running too, I'd say Lucinda is worried at any rate.
Cllr seems to be angling for the Mayor of Dublin if the election actually happens but I'd say he'd run if he didn't make it.
Labour and FG will definitely be running two candidates I think.
Also Eoin Ryan may try to return but Chris Andrews wouldn't like that.

Any chance of that has been destroyed by Eoghan Murphy's success.

Hasn't Cllr repeatedly stated here that he has no desire to run for National office. i thought so at least. In any case it's hard to see an additional Labour seat here and Ruairi has it sewn up unless he decides to run for Mayor
We need to radically change every system that has enabled the wholesale destruction of the Irish landscape, rural and urban. There is no time for incremental step by step measures. The systems have failed utterly and the only hope for a real recovery requires the rule book to be torn up completely.

He's stated that he'd be interested in seeking Labour's mayoral nomination not completely sure about the Dail though.

The way Gilmore was going around June it seems that Lab are going on the offensive, I think they're aiming for 40 TDs or something and Dublin's the best place to expand.

My guess for a second SE candidate would be Oisin Quinn or Cllr Kevin Humphreys of SEIC.

FG will run Creighton and Murphy, McCasrtan has no chance, Murphy might struggle to come thru a Convention but if so HQ will say select one then add him.

Labour will run Quinn and should run Humphreys with him but they might opt for Perodi for the sake of gender balance. Oisin Quinn will have to wait till Uncle Ruairi retires and Cllr seems content where he is with an eye on the Mayoral gig

FF will run O'Callaghan with Andrews unless they can convince Ryan to have a run out

It'll be usual suspects for the Greens, SF, PBP etc

Greens will lose the seat to Murphy

I'd hardly call 24 year old Bryce Evans a usual suspect, the PBP who beat Garrett Tubridy.
