    New Liffey Bridge on way.

The new Liffey Bridge connecting Macken St on the southside to The Docklands has left Holland and will reach Dublin at the weekend. The bridge is to be called The Samuel Beckett Bridge and will be up and running in 2010(ish).I think given the times we are living in a more appropriate name could be given to it.Balls up Bridge would be one,the bridge over troubled waters also any more out there?

I think this bridge is really needed because of the developments on both sides of the Liffey.

Interesting that it was built in Holland, the locally built one in Waterford is more impressive
