Calling on all posters who have the inside track on the various wards who are looking good and who are for the chop,I ask people to discard their party blinkers and say whay their hearing on the doors.

I will have to give this some thought and get back to you.

I will also give it some thought
but don't be surprised if independants do well accross the board.

I'd be interested to hear what Sinn Fein prospects are - can they hold onto the large haul of seats they got in 04?
I know this question is very broad but I am hoping people who have started to canvass already will let us know the vibes on the doors.
Those gaining will be SF, FG & Lab, in that order.

From canvassing I see FG making gains, Lab making some, Greens, FF and SF falling back and probably independents gaining
Yes that is a fair enough observation - however my comments are also based on a wider observation of the Dublin area. In my view at least three SF seats are probably gone already - not in DSE. FG are going to make gains as I think will labour - though we have not been helped by new boundaries across the City
there many new young Fresh face coming from FG for the first time ever since the last locals elections. I believe the fg party increased their representation on the four City Council in June.
