I did misapply Donnelly to Pembroke though.
My apologies i did meant to include Paddy with myself as being from Pembroke end.

I have not included Eoghan in that geographical allocation as he is not a sitting Cllr and therfore may not have the same ward base. From what i gather he has support across the area more as a new candidate.

anyone tell me what time the polls open? need to get in to vote when they open as have meetings all morning.
Whats interesting about it? They are related! Andrew's got Garrett a summer job working for Ted Kennedy as an intern back in the mid 90's if I remember my UCD politics right!

I didn't get on with Tubridy in college, but he's a very decent bloke, very smart and has had a huge media profile behind him recently, I'm surprised he's not showing better.

It's interesting because he would be a threat to Andrews.

Tubridy worked with Joe Kennedy. Not Ted.

He's technically between pembroke and terenure. He was allocated the territory in between

Yes, but only by the party.

close enough... hard to recall 14 years ago! I don't see Tubridy as much of a threat, certainly in the short to medium term. FF will be abttoning down the hatches come the GE.. whenever it is.

I'm merely observing that you have only deviated from your very polite campaigning in this thread and that was to have a pop at one candidate. You made two charges against him. The first was that he couldn't have been in a certain church thousands of time. In a literal sense I suspect this charge is correct.

Your second charge was that he has not lived in the area for most of his life. That charge is almost certainly incorrect and I'm curious as to why you would make it.

You haven't addressed that point, or withdrawn the insinuation that he's some sort of blow-in, in any of your responses at all. Suggesting that I'm looking for a row (I'm not) doesn't change this.

I'm also curious as to why you would choose to single out that particular candidate on this point when you must be aware that there are several other candidates who have certainly not lived in the Ward for 'most of their lives.'
Paddylekker it's quite simple why Cllr has singled out Mr Murphy, fear and jealousy. Fear that this young guy who has not lived in the ward all his life will outshine many of the sitting councillors who quite simply need some shaking up. Jealousy that was very apparent when he spotted many of Mr Murphy's team walking around near Herbert Park over the weekend, they had much more of a presence than he could ever hope. Cllr green is not your colour.

Pardon the expression but what a load of crap. I want Labour to win three seats. How the two Conservative parties divide the seats is there business. I have no particular problem whatsover with Eoghan and I don't believe there could be any basis on which he would say that I have or have ever expressed anything of the sort.
