I know people called it but Jaysus I got it wrong about SF. They got whipped in Crumlin Kimmage. Byrne's tranfers hopefully will be amusing, but the way its gone I doubt it. McGinely must take the last seat off Ardagh.

if I was O' Snodigh (spelling apologies) I'd be worried! A PBP Candidate Collins in particular will be breathing down his neck in general and alot more transfer friendly! DSC could go FF1 FG1 Lab 2 PBP1!

I think maybe Labour would be in a better position to challenge and take a second seat!

I'd agree with that on the results. Uncle Aengus better make plans for an alternative career after the next general election... and wait for the "our vote has increased nationally lark to follow"....

A big well done to John Gallagher on topping the poll and getting elected despite no support from his own party.I also have to say that the postings of Teacher Time are very nasty and don't do his party any favours.

well well done 2 John, a decent honourable man, and no posters, must be the only candidate in the country who did it like that! As for not supported by his party well I think Mary U did, actually I no she did, another honourable decent lady, and I ain't a lab supporter!
