That only adds up to 17, so no majority?

I could be wrong but I think it's split 22-18 at the moment or there abouts.

Two of the "Independents" in the Balbriggan ward had already done deals with the Government parties before a meeting was even held.

I don't think the people that voted for them will be overly impressed when this is pointed out to them....

Peggy Hamill who was Labour Councillor for Castleknock for 10 years, died on Wednesday last June 11th. Her funeral 2 days later was attended by a large group of family and friends along with public representatives of all parties from Fingal County Council and Dublin West as well as her native Tipperary.

Among those in attendance were Ministers Joan Burton, Leo Varadkar and Alan Kelly.

The pod cast is great crack, just to watch blueshirt Dennison seething that SF have atually 6 Clls in the chamber.

Also to hear Labours Cllrs meekly squeak their support for the 2 conservative parties alliance, (given no one else would have them it's no surprise) but nonetheless sickening to see and hear Labour, working class party, voting in a manner solely designed to keep out left wing cllrs.
