Just last night. Only caught a few minutes myself but I don't thik he was described as a local election candidate just a a barrister.

I've done a bit of research on the Pembroke situation - prompted by the Pheonix article on Wendy Hederman.
Hederman seems to be a thoroughly uninspirational character, with not a lot of drive or energy to get a campaign going (not a case of like-mother-like-daughter). Seemingly she suddenly emerged at the PD convention as a candidate......sounds to me like there was plenty of persuading done.
Got my hands on a Creighton campaign flyer at the weekend, and if it wasn't for the FG logo I could have sworn that this lady was a PD as well !
She seems to have buckets of ambition, great policies and a professional "I mean business" image that any PD would be proud of, and that could appeal to voters, in leafy Pembroke.
I've tipped Creighton as the dark horse here before, and after seeing and hearing more of her, if I was a betting man, I'd put €100 on her if I was given odds.
FF seem to be getting a mauling on the doorsteps in SEIC (still not much evidence of any campaign yet in Pembroke) - how true is this ??
Yeah I think that Mc Cartan and Creighton represent a strong team for FG in Pembroke an area in which there is a traditional FG seat. Still believe that based on profile of area and his record Mc Cartan is stronger. Hard to know about Hederman. Surely there are votes between her name, her mother, Mc Dowells support and their combined resources. It will be interesting to watch. Where I live, Lacey and Turley have knocked and leafletted. Andrews had a leaflet some months ago and I vaguely remember one from Mc Cartan/Creighton earlier on. There have been a number of Public meetings recently at which most of the names we hear of have spoken so while quiter than SEIC I think the race is on in Pembroke as well.
Is that not a little judgemental - based, as it seems to be, on a single article?Hederman seems to be a thoroughly uninspirational character, with not a lot of drive or energy to get a campaign going (not a case of like-mother-like-daughter).
Bit of FF PD solidarity there from nice Mr Turley
I just don't like been miss represented.
Who think that Bradys comments were a stroke of political genius like some of the paper were saying today?
If they were surely it would of been someone bigger than Humphreys. Anyone know what the reaction is to Brady from the ordinary person?
apologies to all - 'Qestions & Answers' not Prime Time.
If Keegan is getting a mauling then he's certainly not showing it! I saw him last week in Ringsend directing the troops so obviously his blood is up for the fight! Wonder will he beat the Humph ?
Speaking of fights and fighters, I hear Daithi Doolan is losing support even around the Pearse Street area where he's from - the locasl aren't as enamoured of him as you may think - I got this from a friend of a friend living there.
Oh, I actually saw Q+A last night, and I didn't realise this chap was the same O'Callaghan. They certainly made no mention of his party affiliation or political ambitions. I thought it was a bit odd that they had two barristers on the panel, but as it turns out they also had two FF representatives!
O'Callaghan didn't impress me at all, I have to say. He'll have to soften his lawyerly hauteur if he's going to connect with the voting public. I don't think Michael Donnelly will have much to worry about.

Heard today that the Labour selection convention was held yesterday for Pembroke and South East Inner City .
Both Lacey and Humphreys went uncontested despite the rumors that were posted on this tread.
