Dublin - worthy but bad winners

Dont know about anyone else but I thought Dublin outplayed Laois and deserved to win.
However the verbals they were giving , the scuffles they started at the end of the game because they knew they had already won, the hand signals they gave to their direct opposition after scoring and their lack of dignity in victory gave a lot to be desired.
    Any other opinions.
P.s. I am from Kildare and dislike Laois as much as Dublin.

Dublin won well but I don't see Sam yet. Regarding the verbals - it gives the culchies something to whinge about seeing as how Ciaran Whelan had a good game

Well, we saw a Laois player making quite clear contact with his fist at least twice. I thought Dublin were quite good though they had their usual siesta in the 2nd half
Dan Sullivan. I was back but we still couldn't all have a vote.

I think the pace they play at, especially the hard tackling takes a lot out of them. Laois were a good side but not as strong as Dublin. Monaghan v Laois in the playoffs could be a good match. If any team deserved a 2nd bite it was Monaghan, they just had to play a very good team. From what I've seen, I'd say Kerry to beat Tyrone in the final.

that wasn't contact with a fist.. he was tapping him FFS... I simply cannot abide Whelan's constant hopping against opponents.. I really felt like urging a Laois player to just punch him in the face at one point.. just to make a point (though he'd have been sent off)

It's something that annoys me about players in both codes by the way. Why do subs feel that they have to run onto the field, go straight to their marker, and hammer into them. The time Dublin did it to Maurice Fitzgerald in Thurles a few years ago was disgraceful as well.

Lets be honest, Dublin footballers are in the main.. ruffians.. thugs if you will

Only saw the second half but it seemed a good game, Dublin's forwards are impressive. I missed the first half because i was at a cracker of a hurling game comparing that intermediate hurling game to the Leinster finl backs up fully the view that football is a game for bad hurlers !!

Culchies whinging about nothing when it comes to the Dubs - as usual! They'll always find something to give out about when it comes to the Dubs cos in general they hate the Dubs so much.

Laois dragged, pulled, held, punched etc... yet STILL the Dubs are the ones that take the flak!

Alan Brogan was getting pushed and kicked and slapped off the ball at the end of the game in front of the Canal, yet NOBODY is slating Laois for the way he was treated. Instead Brogan's getting slated for keeping his head and pointing to the scoreboard. When a cheer went up from the Canal he gstured at them to cheer more.

What exactly did he do wrong? In the face of extreme violent provocation he managed to keep the head and didn't resort to violence, if he hit back youse would all be complaining as well.

    Sometimes you just can't win.
